Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible is the living, unchanging Word of God. Every word is inspired by God, completely relevant, reliable, and sufficient to meet all of our spiritual needs. 

We believe that Jesus Christ is God and that He came to live a life on earth from heaven in human form and die on the cross as a substitute for us sinners. Christ was then risen from the dead three days later and today He is in Heaven at the right hand of The Father. 

We believe that mankind is born with a sinful nature and that sin is the mechanism that attempts to separate us from God and make us unable to create salvation for ourselves. Only through the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ can we be cleansed and forgiven.

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith. Eternal life is found exclusively in the life and work of Jesus Christ. The reception of Christ as Lord and Savior is necessary if one is to be saved (that is, to gain salvation). 

We believe that Heaven is the eternal home of the saved and that Hell is the abode of the ones lost to sin. 

We believe that there is only one true God. This God is a trinity of three co-eternal and co-equal persons: the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. The trinity is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
